Joy’s 42nd birthday was celebrated in a low-key with family members– mother Sheikh Hasina, wife Kristine Overmyre, daughter Sophia and sister Saima Hossain Putul and her four children at the prime minister’s official residence Ganabhaban. In a message on his facebook fan page, Joy said he refrained from publicly celebrating his birthday as “one of our Members of Parliament Mr Golam Shabur died in a tragic car accident. Our deepest condolence and sympathy to his family. May his soul rest in peace.” Hasina’s eldest child was born in 1971 in Dhaka during the Liberation War. Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman named him after the nation won victory. The PM’s son also thanked everyone for wishing him birthday and said, “It is really wonderful to be able to celebrate my birthday surrounded by friends and family in Bangladesh. Kristine and Sophia are here, along with my sister and her clan – she has four kids. The only ones missing are my aunt and her kids.”

Microsoft is due to release its GDR3 update for Windows Phone mobile operating system. This update will bring several new features to the platform, including support for quad-core processors and 1080 pixel resolution displays. It will also introduce another row of home screen Live Tiles, which will help phablets make full use of the big screen. Nokia could place the Phablet as Lumia 1030 Model. These atheist cliques are hurting believers by publishing anti-Islamic articles attacking Almighty Allah, Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (sm) and Islamic lifestyle on their blogs and other social media websites. He said these youths are promoting all activities contrary to Islamic values and life-style such as nudism, free-sex etc. which will ultimately lead the country towards destruction. They are labeling hijab and burka, a dress for women approved by Islam, as dress of ‘prostitutes of hotels’ and portraying respected alems and Islami personalities as terrorist, militant and other bad elements of the society. He said they are doing all these with full backing from the government. Accusing the prime Minister Sheikh Hasina-led grand alliance government of patronizing these atheists, Allama Safi said the government is taking no steps against conspirators against Islam but killing Muslims who are building resistance against them. He alleged that the government was hatching conspiracy to uproot Islam from the soil of this country at the advice of the atheist leaders of left political parties. But he warned that any design against Islam would not only be foiled but the conspirators would be uprooted as well from this country if the conspiracy against Islam continued. He was critical of a section of some newspapers and electronic media for backing these atheists in the name of upholding and reviving the spirit of 1971 liberation war. He said it is a matter of surprise to see that a slain atheist blogger (Rajib) has been declared “Shaheed” in a country where more than 90 per cent people are Muslims. The internationally renowned and respected Islamic thinker Allama Safi has demanded of the government to immediately stop all activities against Islam, Almighty Allah and prophet Muhammad (sm) and called upon all Muslims to be united to resist enemy of Islam immediately. Yasmin Mita Noor allegedly committed suicide

Television actress Sabina Yasmin Mita Noor allegedly committed suicide. Police recovered the body of the 42-year-old in the morning after her husband Shahanur Rahman Majumder informed them over the phone around 6:40am. Samples from different parts of her body had been collected for viscera tests, he said, adding that the cause of her death would be known for sure after the tests.Morgue sources said the injury marks on her body might be two to three days old but those could not be directly linked to her death. Shahanur and Mita got married 24 years ago. Mita Noor is a very well known face in the TV media from the 90s. She has acted in a large number of TV plays and serials. As a successful TV actress, though she had possessed a good position in drama for 22 years. By performing in a weekly play of Bangladesh television titled ‘Sagor Sencha Sadh’ in 1989, Mita Noor came into view as an actress. But she earned huge popularity by performing in TV.
